- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or engaging the services of JayJay Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, clients, and users of our website and services.
- Services Provided
JayJay Consulting provides professional bookkeeping and payroll services to individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations across Canada.
The specific scope of services will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or service agreement provided to you prior to the commencement of work.
We reserve the right to decline services to any individual or organization at our sole discretion.
- Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver accurate and timely services, you agree to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date financial and payroll information
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your business, financial situation, or contact information
- Review all documents or reports prepared on your behalf and notify us of any errors or discrepancies
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines for providing necessary information
- Maintain copies of all documents provided to us
JayJay Consulting is not liable for errors, penalties, or missed deadlines resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information provided by the Client.
- Fees & Payment
Fees will be communicated in advance through a quote, proposal, or engagement letter. By proceeding with our services, you agree to the fees outlined.
Payment terms will be specified in your engagement letter. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.
We do not offer refunds for services already rendered unless there has been a demonstrable error on our part.
- Confidentiality
All client information is treated as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your personal or financial information to third parties except as required to deliver our services, as required by law, or with your explicit written consent.

- Accuracy & Limitations
We prepare all bookkeeping and payroll records with reasonable care and diligence. However, we rely on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by you.
Our services do not constitute legal advice, tax filing, or CPA-level financial advisory. Always consult a licensed professional for matters requiring such advice.
- CRA & Government Matters
We assist clients in organizing bookkeeping and payroll information. All final assessments, filings, or decisions by regulatory authorities, including the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), are the responsibility of the client or their licensed professional.
- Intellectual Property
All content on the JayJay Consulting website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is our property and protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, JayJay Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time with reasonable written notice. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all fees for services rendered up to the termination date. We will return all original documents and deliver completed work upon receipt of outstanding payment.
- Third-Party Services
We may recommend or use third-party software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or cloud storage platforms). We are not responsible for the terms, privacy practices, or performance of any third-party platforms.
- Website Use
Content on our website is for general informational purposes related to bookkeeping and payroll services. It does not constitute professional legal, tax, or financial advice.
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of information on our website.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal laws. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
